I am an experienced educator and Certified Slant System Dyslexia Specialist and Wilson Dyslexia Therapist dedicated to helping students build strong reading and literacy skills through individualized, evidence-based instruction. I specialize in working with students with dyslexia and other reading challenges, providing structured literacy instruction focused on decoding, encoding, fluency, spelling, and comprehension. In addition to my Wilson certification, I am also certified in the SLANT System and use multisensory, structured approaches to help students become confident, successful learners. I have experience working with elementary and middle school students and am passionate about creating supportive, engaging lessons tailored to each child’s unique learning needs. My goal is to help students strengthen their academic skills, build confidence, and make meaningful progress in reading and language development.

Married with four children, I was raised and educated in Ireland before returning to pursue my teaching degree while my own kids were in elementary school. I've taught across middle and elementary grades, with most of my experience in 5th grade. Over the last four years, I've found my true calling in Special Education, and I absolutely love it.
