I trained through Neuhaus located in Houston, Texas through their specialist preparation program and am now a CALT (certified academic language therapist). Neuhaus trains using Basic Language Skills, an Orton-Gillingham approach based program similar to Take Flight. I have also trained in a couple of lingustic phonics programs. I prefer to use an approach that is individualized for each student based on what they need. I have experience working with dyslexia and dysgraphia.
