I have been teaching for 14 years now. I have my Masters degree in Special Education. I have taught in the general education setting, resource setting and as an interventionist. I was first trained in Wilson in 2017, but after moving to a new district in 2020 I switched to Slant System. I went through the Foundations course and began teaching Slant in 2022. Following that course, I immediately completed my certification to be a Slant System Dyslexia Specialist in 2023. I left the school setting in 2024 to get my Slant System Coaching certificate. Since then I have spent my time private tutoring and coaching other teachers in the Slant certification program.
